Badlion Chat and Discord Rules

Rule 1Spam

1.1Messages that are the same or similar and provide little to no benefit to the chat.

1.2Generally annoying messages sent repeatedly.

1.3Messages that contain no words or random combinations of characters.

Penalty

•Temporary mute from Badlion Chat and/or Discord

Rule 2Impersonation

2.1Falsely claiming to be a person of significance.

2.2Falsely claiming to be a Badlion staff member.

2.3Usernames and/or display pictures designed to deceive a player into thinking you are someone you are not.

Penalty

•Temporary mute from Badlion Chat and/or Discord.•Change of nickname on Badlion Discord.•Kick or ban from Badlion Discord.

Rule 3Toxic Behavior and Disrespect

3.1Messages that are likely to cause offense.

3.2Messages that are deliberately rude or hurtful.

3.3Unsportsmanlike conduct.

3.4Comments that are to the smallest extent, racist, homophobic or otherwise discriminatory.

3.5Inappropriate messages.

3.6Messages that do not respect other's individuality.

Penalty

•Temporary mute from Badlion Chat and/or Discord.

Rule 4Advertising and Begging

4.1Messages that in anyway advertise competing products.

4.2Messages that advertise irrelevant products.

4.3Linking or advertising giveaways of Badlion products.

4.4Requesting people to purchase non-Badlion products for you.

4.5Requesting people to purchase Badlion cosmetics or subscriptions for you.

Penalty

•Temporary mute from Badlion Chat and/or Discord.•Ban from Badlion Discord

Rule 5Homophobia, Racism and Discrimination

5.1Messages that a reasonable person would consider offensive to members or allies of the LGBTQIA+ community.

5.2Discriminatory or otherwise offensive messages targeting a specific race or races.

5.3Hateful, offensive or discriminatory messages about a specific religion, religions and, or nationality.

5.4Any other message that is hateful, highly offensive, discriminatory or disrespectful that goes beyond the scope of Rule 3.

Penalty

•Temporary mute from Badlion Chat and/or Discord.•Permanent mute from Badlion Chat and/or Discord.

Rule 6Threats

6.1Any message that implies or explicitly states a threat to another persons wellbeing.

6.2This does not include comments about in-game threats.

6.3Messages that try to avoid this rule (for example, saying in-game afterwards)

Penalty

•Temporary mute from Badlion Chat and/or Discord.•Permanent mute from Badlion Chat and/or Discord.

Rule 7DOX/DDoS Threats

7.1Any message that seriously or jokingly suggests a plaver will DOX or DDoS another user.

7.2This does not include comments about a player stating they believe they are being DDoSed themselves.

Penalty

•Permanent mute from Badlion Chat and/or Discord.•Can only be reversed at an administrator's discretion.

Rule 8Inappropriate content

8.1Messages that include or reference illegal activity.

8.2Messages discussing content not appropriate for children.

8.3Any message containing malicious, obnoxious or otherwise inappropriate content that do not meet criteria for other rules.

Penalty

•Permanent mute from Badlion Chat and/or Discord.

Rule 9Too many mutes

9.1Users who receive more than 5 mutes in a short period will be muted for no less than 1 week.

9.2Users who receive more than 10 mutes in a short period will be muted for no less than 3 months.

9.3Users who receive 20 mutes in total will be permanently muted.
