This tournament will be a new standalone event. Failure to attend may result in your disqualification in future tournaments, so only sign-up if you are certain you can attend. The matches will take place on the European proxy.

This tournament is also a pilot event for a venture into competitive SG, the world-famous gamemode.

This event is not directly related to any other tournaments, and as such does not act as a qualifier.

This tournament will NOT require BLC.

- Turbulence

Overview
Teams will be 5v5'ing with the SG format, testing each team's knowledge of the map presented. Teams who memorize chest routes gain a substantial advantage in these matches, strong team co-ordination is paramount.

The tournament will take place on Saturday, 6th January at 11:00 AM EST

Sign-ups
This tournament, is a standalone 5v5 event. 3 substitutes are permitted per team signup and may not be modified once rosters are closed. Be prepared and have spare players.

Server
This tournament will be played on the EU comp lobbies. You can access the servers by connecting to eu.badlion.net and then joining the "e-sports" lobby item.
Tournament staff will give further instruction in-game. You will be told to prepare, and you will be forced into matches.

Prizes
1st place team - up to 8 Lion+ Ranks
2nd place team - up to 8 Lion Ranks
3rd place team - up to 8 Plus Ranks

Rules
In addition to the rules below, all Badlion rules apply during the tournament.

The following offenses may warrant a disqualification and or a ban from all Badlion Network servers without warning and will be harsher than those usually given out:

Usage of any unauthorized client modifications/hacked clients
Usage of any sort of external device that gives the player an unfair advantage over other players
Threatening, harassing, or bullying other players
Exploiting game-breaking plugin issues/abusing bugs
Failure to follow directions given by Tournament Staff
Any action that causes a disruption to the event
Any form of poor sportsmanship and/or disrespect, publicly or privately
Evading an IP ban (We will wait to issue the bans 5 minutes before the tournament starts)
If you do not follow the instructions given by a helper, you may be disqualified.
Banned players will be able to play with BAC enabled.
Rules and gameplay are subject to change - INCLUSIVE OF MATCH/BRACKET TIMES
Rematches will be granted at the discretion of Tournament Advisers or Admins in only certain situations.

1. Smaller-Number Seed chooses map #1
2. Larger-Number Seed chooses map #2
3. Leftover is map #3

Round information
The tournament will consist of 2 stages, both played on Saturday.

Stage one will use the Swiss-System. This system continuously pairs up teams who have similar records in prior rounds, and will be good for producing an accurate top 16. All rounds will be Best of 1.

Stage two will be a Single Elimination bracket stage. The top 16 teams from the first stage will advance. All rounds will be Best of 3.

This tournament DOES NOT require users to use the Badlion Client.
