Said this before but in my opinion communism is a form of socialism. The Eastern Bloc was officially made up of socialist states so…

True but I meant that all the social programs like free healthcare and education and maternity leave were ideas of a socialist parliament. And all of them turned out great.
Sorry if I sound stupid lol

I think I would vote for Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton. In my country we take free education for granted, I hope this will also happen in the US.
I wouldn't vote for Ted Cruz for sure, he supports 'abortion punishments' and he's a racist.

I'm a Democrat. If I was to vote for the Democratic side, it would be Hillary Clinton. As for the Republican Side..
Donald Trump doesnt think before he speaks
Ted Cruz is a bit better
Kasich doesnt really do anything..
I just wouldnt vote for the Republicans

I'm for Bernie Sanders. With Bernie we are going to start a political revolution. This country is not going to move forward unless we end a rigged economy where the rich get richer and everybody else gets poorer. Do we really feel confident about a candidate saying she's going to bring change to America when she is so dependent on big money interests? Hillary actively supported fracking technology around the world, we have to tell the fossil fuel industry that their short term profits are not more important than the future of this planet. Bernie believes that if we stand together and not let the Trump's of the world divide us up that we can guarantee healthcare to all people as a right, we can have public colleges and universities tuition free, we can lead the world in transforming our energy system and combating climate change, we can have paid family and medical leave, we can break up the large financial institutions, and we can demand that the wealthiest people in this country pay their fair share taxes. That is what a political revolution is all about, no other candidate is like him, that is why I'm for Bernie. He cares about me and everyone else in this world and isn't dependent on big money interests.Posted on 24 April 2016 - 02:16 AM

For all the wrong reasons to be honest, he's a nice guy but the majority of his supporters are regressives who wont make your country progress, but rather the opposite.

I'm against scaling levels of tax however i do believe huge corporations (Apple, Google etc.) should have to pay large amounts of tax and/or increase the pay of their employees to distribute the large amounts of wealth they earn.
Individuals and companies(large or small and that are not as big as apple or google or whatever) should pay the same as everyone else, as chances are they or their predecessors worked incredibly hard to get there.
And socialism in any form usually ends up with everyone getting poorer, rich and poor alike.
But yes I do like Bernie, admire him as a statesman and is a really nice guy.

I honestly think Bernie is the most genuine of the candidates, but I don't think he's the best choice.

Yeah, everything that comes out of Hillary's mouth sounds like a lie.

The only groups that need to have their taxes raised are huge companies. Nothing would be truly free, somebody would always be paying for it. What happens once the people who once
had all the money end up on the same level as everyone else and can no longer pay their raised taxes? College would no longer be free. I agree with a lot of Bernie's other points though.

Yeah Bernie seems like a great guy.
I haven't paid attention to the news lately and I've just been gathering what I can, which is why most of this is likely inaccurate. I can't vote anyways lol

Bernie said he would support Hillary in the general, so he's clearly not as anti-establishment "political revolution" as you believe.
