You've misinterpreted what I said about elo skill vs. elo consistency. How do you expect to be 31:1 consistent against the #1 player? It's theoretically just about impossible, unless you yourself deserve #1.
and thats why alting shouldnt be allowed, becuase if a guy that is clearly better then you fights you on a 1400 account, you have no chance of going even (in elos) with them, which leads to you losing elos because the guy simply felt like going on an alt and draining you, and that just makes it worse because you will essentialy be "alting" (you are lower elo then what you should be) and you make other people lose more elo, and it just goes on. thats how I see it, I really dont know how you guys do.

Also, if there will be a guy that on average, can get a better ratio then 31:1, then it means his elo will never stop growing (1 requirement tho, badlions thing with matching people close to you elo that they have in build needs to be removed.) and to stop it from being like that badlion needs to make a more precise elo system (either stop using only natural numbers or make it so there will be NO LIMITATIONS to how much elo you lose, and also NO LIMITATIONS to how littel elo you gain, which tranalates to if I am 2.5k and I fight a 1.1k I will lose MORE then 31 and there wont be a limit to how much I can lose and that if I beat him I will gain LESS then 1 elo, that would be the absolute perfect elo system.)Posted on 11 April 2016 - 01:02 PM

That alting (mostly for draining purposes) are basicly a different type of elo manipulation.

You're complaining about people alting and taking elo away, yet you would want those people to take 40+ elo rather than the 31…
okay.

badlion elo isn't skill, it's consistency:
another reason why alting doesn't need to be bannable

It's a scumbag move but it's not elo manipulation.

They are just regular people playng the game. If you dont want to get drained then get get better. Isn't obvious?Posted on 12 April 2016 - 05:21 PM
If you get drained by an alt you don't deserve that elo-Hattowolf

So is a new, skilled player joining halfway through the season elo manipulation?

I haven't read other peoples' comments on this, but my response to the actual idea is that this doesn't even make sense. I don't really understand but from what I do it sounds as if you're complaining about losing ELO to an alt but if they're a person's main account you wouldn't be upset? Why do only alts upset you? Also, they're not draining you. They're just playing the game and beating you at it. Not that big of a deal. :)

If they disallow alting then the elo system like that would be perfect.

this is half true, you can obviously beat them, but unless you are a the best player by far, that isnt gonna happen everytime, so yea you could avoid losing elo by just beating them, but with that logic you might aswell tell people to get better and never lose they will be 1st, its not that easy.
