I would actually prefer to get good eu connection. Like if you have like 100 download speed and good upload, and you get like 10 ms to eu servers, and then like 70 - 100 ms to us servers, that gives you latency better then ping. I would rather have that, that's what like Nvoo, ZombieForce, DPM, so and so have.Posted on 04 August 2014 - 01:36 AM
I'm pretty sure that up and down speeds don't affect latency (don't quote me on that though)Do they @MasterGberry ?

The latency is more important than the download and upload speeds (unless you are maxing these out).Posted on 04 August 2014 - 05:39 AM
How about this.It's both.
why is this even a conversation?

@larpPing is the query (another computer on a network) to determine whether there is a connection to it. The lower ms you have on a Minecraft server. The better connection you receive. I have found ways to get more ping like connecting through a number IP instead of the domain. But ping is not that much of an issue, it only depends on if your internet is well and can handle multiplier games like Minecraft servers such as badlion.

I raped ComboDombo when I was at 130ms and he was at like 40. In my opinion it's about the technique. I fought Errafu who gets like 10 ping and I beat him because of the technique I used and how good my strafes are. But like Jacob said, god ping does help. If only Archy made badlion 1.5…. Air comboes 4 dayz.Posted on 06 August 2014 - 06:27 PM
