Why Do Arrows Glitch Hit?

If you play Archer and fight far, you might have noticed that sometimes the incoming arrow glitches and like instantly hits you even though you were gonna dodge it fine, or you might have also seen it happen when you shoot at your opponent. The hitbox disappears or teleports to them or something and they get insta hit.Why does this happen?
