Personally I like the fact that there isnt fire res in the nether since there is such a risk when you go to nether incase you get damaged by the mods or somehow fall in lava etc. Also while getting blaze rods for the brewing stand you would have to play it really smart to not get hit and still get the blaze rodsPosted on 31 May 2016 - 09:48 AM

You're not meant to have fire resistance in the nether. <- That is what a developer told me.
