I think that Badlion is a very good server, as it has loads of things to do, such as UHC arena pvp and sg. The recent merge has made the server a better server. However I still dont understand the 'feel' for hacking, it makes no sense as to why someone would hack. Yeah they may say that it was just for 'fun' and a 'one off' but then go and complain about someone else hacking while they are on their main. This makes no sense as they have just done the same thing as the hacker by going on to a random account and hacking. One thing that I find to be really annoying is the fact that people say that 'everyone' hacks, but in reality not that many people hack, yeah there are a fair few on badlion but people hackusate far too much and get them selves muted for stupid reasons (I really cant say anything myself about toxicicity but hay ho).
To be fair it is just sad to hack, as it wont get you very far in life as you just learn to cheat and not have fun. People say that they were just doing it to get elo but if you think about it how sad does that sound 'I was only hacking to get my elo up', yeah really bad. This is why the community is so toxic because certain people don't no how to play legit. If you are getting annoyed at people hacking don't hack yourself, as it will just make the whole thing worse.
Thats my rant over

I hacked for separate reasons on here, but yes. If I didn't care about the server or getting banned, I'd do it again, without thinking about other players. Its human nature.
Thats may be true but dont hack plz keep the server clean

It's ELO stop bugging dude. ELO doesn't prove someone's skill level, they can only use it for bragging rights. There are so many 2k's that don't deserve their ELO at all. Yes I get it cheaters are a problem and it'll be solved just don't worry about it.Judgement day will pull through 8)

People want to make themselves feel better about themselves by hacking for Elo, instead of actually getting good at the game and improving yourselfPosted on 01 June 2016 - 03:38 PM
It is kind of a sick reality, however on any kind of an online platform there is a unlimited sense of freedom without any named repercussions. You can do anything online, on a server, or any online platform, and in truth you honestly will not be affected the outcome of what may or not be a negative thought or expression.I think what happens is people realize that even if they do hack they aren't going to affected by what might happen if they do get punished for it. I think that fact that people have the ability to alter their online self at any time, gives an unlimited sense of freedom which is hugely desired for many people who may not identify or have problems coping with others in the real world. This is the sad reality for many people because they just continue to build off of their fake selves, created for their entertainment and security. A place where they can identify themselves. I think when people get wrapped up in that idea they loose sight of what is really at stake and how easily they can start to act like those they play with in-game or on the forums. It is so easy, even for myself, to want/desire to be like those I respect and think are "cool." Not only online but also in real life. Of course the online side to this coin gives more mobility and freedom for people to make stupid decisions and not experience or feel insecure about any irrational statement they make.
Hacking completely makes the game irrelevant and the majority of the time hackers do understand this fact. No matter what there is always going to be a main factor as to why each person wants to hack, however that reason is always flawed because it does not take into account the fact that there are thousands of other people who want to play the game legitimately.
I don't think the community is toxic because people don't know how to play legit. I think a small group of people in the community are toxic because they cannot see past their own desire, which is unconsciously self-centered.

Do you guys even know any diehard sports fans?Like, the entire professional sports community is often more toxic than any Minecraft PvP community.
