If I heard correctly, season 13 matchmaking will start by looking for an opponent of your region then move onto a different player from a different region to fight if que time is to long.

please, If this is true, have a setting (in hot bar settings icon) that can turn off different regions. For example if and AU player doesn't want to be matched against an EU player they can toggle off EU region match making with the consequence of longer que times (looking for an opponent in your selected regions)

Many people would much rather wait for a smooth (eg. AU Vs. AU) match then (eg. AU vs. EU) match.

Main reason AU server was implemented was so AU's could experience smooth gameplay. We don't want to go back to laggy cross world battles. It's not just us, people don't enjoy fighting high pinged players either, it's not smooth and can be frustrating.

We have actually decided to revert against this idea. At the moment you will only be matchmade with your region.
