I think personally you should get banned for death threats and suicide encouragement

Okay, why comment then? No one gives a fuck about your non-opinion.

Now I can see why you get muted a lot. You need to learn to control yourself.

This worked for bl over two years ago when the staff team was really lenient with muting, but neo bl caters to a larger audience with a larger age range – the likelihood of people complaining about lenient chat rules will increase as the community becomes further and further away from its former tight-knit self and it's inadvisable from a financial standpoint because this will move players away from the server instead of bring them in

>I don't think I'm the only one that sort of enjoys people getting angry, because it's kind of funny.

I used to enjoy this too but it's just negativity all around and eventually you'll get bored of it. If you want to exchange insults with your pals, just do it in some private group chat

Personally I don't really care what people say in chat but it's my job to enforce our rules. Other people get offended by some things and we have to draw a line somewhere so we aren't a toxic wasteland nor North Korea.

Do as you want outside of Badlion but here you are going to have to abide by what we believe is best for our community.

No, it's an excusefor your toxicity. People like you are the ones making Badlion look like a place for toxins. If you're going to bitch and complain about the rules than go play on some shitty Badlion rip-off with more relaxed rules.

Less reasons to be able to mute (get rid of muting for suicide encouragement, homophobic slurs etc.)

Those are probably the most severe toxicity. Just because you lose to someone like me and get drained 2 elo doesn't mean you have to type "kys" in the chat.

Shorter mute times

Please reconsider some of your points. It's an excuse to get away with your toxicity.

Yeah, good point. I should respect the mods that do not give a fuck about the server, the only thing they care about is looking good or being popular, some of the mods on here are the reason this community is so shit.
https://www.badlion.net/punishments If you think we don't put work into the server, think again and I have no clue where you're getting this popularity stuff from. I'm not going to ask you to call out anyone here, because that wouldn't be good, but if you want to tell me in PMs, feel free to. And I don't think you're a person that can tell what does and doesn't make a community "shit", judging by, again, your extensive punishments page.

Don't be toxic - Don't get muted - That simple!

I agree it's a bit harsh but there's no reason to be homophobic or to tell someone they should end their lives.

While I kind of agree with you that people should not actually kill themselves over some stupid shit like this, I can say from experience that listening to every other person you beat tell you to kys for no reason at all can put you in a shitty mood.

It's the golden rule, don't be an asshole and you won't feel the consequences

I dont agree with his opinion but sometimes people can get angry and get a shitty mood because of the way players play, its not healthy to keep it inside tbh and there should be a place where even the most toxic player will be able to express his feelings, because keeping it inside isnt helping the situation and just creating more toxicity

Badlion is a competitive minecraft pvp server.
There is no way to get rid of toxicity, as people get mad, cause they get drained and they will make themselves feel better when saying something toxic in the chat. The main reason for toxicity is ELO. People take it too seriously and then when they get drained they just express their rage in chat.

how about you stop taking the game so seriously? Thats probably why you're getting heated about it in the first place…

@auxempt Foxize makes a good point. Stop calling ppl tryhards when you get upset over a game where you were supposed to be building things rather than fighting. You're acting hypocritical.

How about you try to make a point that everybody else hasn't made months ago.

Our chat system is still lenient compared to other games. In Heroes of the Storm, you can get muted for simple shit, and if you're muted you are banned from all forms of ranked. In league of legends, you can end up getting perma banned from purely chat offensives such as disrespect if you do it enough. In MMO's, I've seen people get temp banned (up to a month) for simple calling people fucking idiots once in a while.

Get over it
