Poem about death.
Posted on 18 June 2016 - 02:14 AM
I had a project in school. It was about poems, we had to choose a topic, pick two poems online of that topic, then make one yourself of that topic. My poem:
Darkness meets the depths below
As death eats at our hollow souls
We swim through the river Styx
As we hear the sounds of gears clicks
Finding our way through the depths of hell
the silent tick of our heart like bells
Sacrifice our souls away
While up above our bodies lay.
I wanted to post this because I feel like it is a powerful poem. Death is a powerful topic, and there's many depressed people around so maybe this can make you aware of that.

Avoid plurals in couplets and fix the singular/plural inconsistencies>as we hear the sounds of gears clicks
I don't get this line
