Ping

In this thread I'm just going to point out the pros and cons of high and low ping. It's kinda annoying how people are always saying "ur such a pinger omfg!!!11" and "u only get lag combos dood ur bad." I've played with high ping before and with low ping so I know in general the pros and cons of each. Just the other day on an na west uhc (I get 80 ms to west) I noticed myself easily getting combos with the hit and kb delay. All levels of ping have pros and cons so you really shouldn't be using it as an excuse.Low ping (under 50)
Pros:
Fast hit registration
Less kb can make it hard for opponents to w tap and combo you
Minimal rod and bow delay
Cons:
kb registers instantly making it impossible to get "laggy" combos. You have to get combos "legitimately"
Medium ping (50-120)
Pros:
Slightly delayed kb makes it easier to get combos even after your opponent gets the first hit
Hit delay can get you far hits
Hit boxes are laggy which can make it harder for opponents to rod, bow, and sometimes even land hits
Cons:
Slight rod and bow delay
Slower hit registration
Blocks and buckets can glitch and are laggy
High ping (120+)
Pros:
Delayed kb = easy combos
Hit delay gets far hits
Laggy hitboxes make it nearly impossible for opponents to land rods and very hard to land bow shots
Cons:
A lot of delay with rod and bow
Very slow hit registration
You can get ghost killed
Glitchy buckets and blocks
