Remove DM Lightning

I was at 9 kills, my current record, the last guy in Death match chases me, I'm at full health, I f'n's him down to 1 heart, I'm about to go in to get my 10th kill of the game, nope, lightning strikes the players and it doesn't count as my kill. (Player) was shot. I'm so frustrated that I go through all the trouble of trying to get my new kill record and then have it stolen from me by the game.
