I can't rod or combo people, since knockback hardly exists in build. Every fight seems to just be an even exchange of hits that ends in a nearly-even game. I greatly preferred season 12 to the current knockback. Hopefully the final knockback is much better.Posted on 20 July 2016 - 08:36 PM

We have done some testing with the community (as seen here https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/128023) and have modified the knockback for speed and non-speed ladders. The few select community members approved of the final product after many iterations of testing and we have gone ahead and pushed out the knockback change. The change will propagate throughout all ArenaPvP servers in all regions in the next 2-3 hours. By 9 PM PST 07/20/16, the knockback changes should be live on all servers.This thread will be locked until @ginie1 reopens it for feedback on the new knockback values.

Non SpeedIt's a lot better than the old kb but it's still pretty hard to w tap. It also feels pretty funky if that makes sense (probably not) instead of smooth. Other than that it's really good ^_^

A little more vertical kb would be nice but it's good, I like it.

KB is still A-W-F-U-L plus we discovered 1 more bug. My friend dueled me best of 5 and when we finished 1 match we got into spectator mode and there were new guys playing not us we just played 1 round of 5 haha poor…Posted on 21 July 2016 - 01:16 PM

So because it doesn't adapt to your style of play you immediately just say it's 'awful'? It's good. You should never have had to rely entirely on a rod for a combo in the first place

I went on right after I saw the post about the kb being changed and it seemed pretty nice but when I went on a few minutes ago it felt like it did before any change happened… At the moment there isn't quite enough kb and laggers seem to take little to no kb that also happens to be delayed.Posted on 21 July 2016 - 05:51 PM
I cannot say I like this KB very much. Any time I try to even get an s-tap backup combo, when I'm used to the other player not being able to hit me, they get a double hit on me as I'm walking backwards. Also, when I'm just going for aggressive strafing, even with a rod or three, I mainly just trade with the other person. It seems like you can only win by one or two lucky extra hits, and you lose easily because maybe one of the other person's hits registered as a crit (or was a crit).All in all, it's not a very fun way to play, if you ask me. I like it when both players have equal opportunity to get solid combos on one another, and you just don't really see that happening with these KB values.
That's my two cents.

Not to be rude but I really cant say i kike the non speed kb at all for build uhc although it is still very nice for ladders such as diamond. Although sometimes it feels nice combos/ double hits are hard to come by and it is mostly trading.For speed ladders, what can i say, its the best speed kb i have seen on badlion and players are moving and taking vertical kb. A little more vertical kb would not hurt but it is pretty good as is
