Agreeing with @Tyguy95 - it's impossible to get in a match if you're gold II+ in any ladder besides Build. It's ridiculous. Before the reset, I was about Gold III in Diamond, I ran 3/4 the circumference of the lobby before getting a match.Edit: reset didn't happen yet whoops

heck, I must have played 40+ matches in a row getting 0 elo on old soup server then got drained 32 elo and didn't complain because I preferred to play than to not play at all
It's not necessarily always a bad player killing them. Most cases it is a hacker that comes and disrupts the game. Does that mean that they don't deserve their elo? No.
