I have been muted for 1Day because i used the word "hacks" (i'm NOT complaining about the mute) it's very annoying when people talk to you and you cannot reply. Muted players should at least be able to show that they are muted. How about something like this:example: /iammuted [ExampleName] - tells a player that you aren't able to talk due to mute. This command can only be used once per minute to avoid spam.

if the player were to pm you it does let them know that you're muted. for global nope. Especially because the muted people would abuse such commandsPosted on 07 September 2014 - 02:16 PM
the problem is that most people talk to you in global chat. of course the message shouldn't be visible in global chat, but if someone talks to you in global u still wanna make him know that ur mutedPosted on 07 September 2014 - 03:31 PM

They can /bminfo <name> to see if you're muted if they really cared. The point of being muted is you are not allowed to talk because you abused your talking privilege and now are punished for a certain amount of time for doing so.

I made it so you couldn't pm muted players before, but @Archybot decided otherwise, ask him :PPosted on 07 September 2014 - 11:38 PM
I was fine with not being able to PM muted players, it was @MasterGberry who overrode it.Posted on 08 September 2014 - 03:19 AM
I'm in favor of this suggestion. This suggestion isn't imperative, but somewhat useful. If this were to be added, a message should be auto sent to players trying to speak with a muted player stating, " This player has been muted, try again later". Or something along those lines.Posted on 08 September 2014 - 04:49 AM

My opinion has not changed on this matter.

I believe players can /bminfo (name) to display a players current punishment status, perhaps we could notify players more of this command and put it into use, to solve problems like this.
