Disable zero elo transactions

One of the most annoying parts of the elo system for a lot of players on your server is the possibility of winning a match and gaining zero elo - and, conversely, losing zero elo from a loss. Here's why: every time you join a ranked match, it's a gamble with your elo. You don't know if you're going to get somebody really good or somebody really bad. You don't know what sort of a map you're going to be stuck with, you don't know the other guy's play style, and you sure as he'll don't know how much elo you're risking yours for. You could always fuck up and lose a bunch of elo, but obviously, it's all risked for the possibility of more elo. When you risk your own elo for nothing, especially multiple matches in a row, it's a lose-lose situation, especially because if you were to gain zero elo from a win, a loss would result of 30+ elo. It seems like an easy fix and a nice stepping stone to other adjustments of the elo system.Posted on 13 September 2014 - 06:39 PM
I haven't noticed this actuallyWhen does this happen to you? I'm around 1980 in iron OCN and I always get at least 1 elo for a win.

If this happens often to other people then it definitely should be fixed.
Edit: lol it just happened

It's not that annoying as they have to be really low and you have to be really high but I agree it should get fixed.

Er, oops. Didn't see that. Either way, I try my best not to bitch about things, but rather give you solid reasons why they shouldn't be the way they are and how to fix them. :)

That's because your highest elo is 1830 and mine is 2100+
