Fps and pvp
So basically I get at most 80 fps and an average of about 50 (all settings down except for stuff like view distance) while 1v1ing and even worse while 2v2ing ect. And I would like to know if this will add a limit of sorts on how much I can improve. Also how much of an advantage can you gain from a 120hz or 144hz monitor over a 60hz.

Edit:Sorry I don't think that I was very clear. I meant that IF i got more frames would a higher hz monitor be helpful.

If you are averaging 50fps a higher hertz monitor will change nothing.

lower hertz**
Fps will limit you if you're getting 40 or below, anything around 60 will basically feel just as smooth as 100.

Using a 120hz or 144hz monitor will make the game a lot smoother (if you can reach those fps values of course). If you are getting 50 average, it is not worth the money to get a higher hz monitor until you upgrade your pc to get the respective fps values.

If you get a 144hz monitor with 50fps I can say right now that it will look even more laggy, only get a 144hz if you have a good PC imo

Yes, if you get anything over 60fps a 120hz or 144hz monitor would be helpful. I am not sure how helpful it would be in minecraft, but I am sure it would bring some improvement.
