Hey I have 2 questions. One is can my wireless adapter just die overnight and not work in the morning? It happened to me. The previous night it showed no signs or dying and in the morning I couldn't connect to any networks. Then it died. Then question 2 is, "does getting a new adapter affect my ping? I get 20ms on average to badlion using a wireless adapter that I savaged from my parents old Windows XP desktop from the 1990s-2010 so would getting a new wireless adapter that has bad stats help, keep or destroy my ping? Also should I use pci or usb? I don't need convience as it's going into my desktop.Posted on 30 October 2016 - 08:52 PM
You apparently failed English class because you don't know basic grammar. And yes it does affect ping depending if it's good or not

I wasn't even trying for good grammar. It's the internet and do you expect everyone to have perfect skills and grammar? And also I have a really old windows xp adapter that gives me 20 ms, wouldn't getting a new one help my ms?

Don't act like a smartass when you yourself are incapable of distinguishing between "their", "there" with "they're" and "your" with "you're" ;) Besides the inappropriate punctuations there weren't any grammar errors anyways.
Back to the OP, your first question is a yes if the adapter is old. For your second question, I'm not too sure about the answer but it probably will change by a very insignificant amount; I'd need confirmation from someone who knows these things well though. Just use a wired connection if possible.
