Ever since I've been watching those 2400 IN BUILD UHC! DIAMOND V IN BUILD! videos I've always seen one thing in common– Nearly perfect lava placements. I feel like that's the only thing that I am missing that will get me to Gold V in build, some tips would be great.Posted on 03 November 2016 - 05:54 PM

Im not saying Im good, but place your lava when your trading hits and pick it up before he waters himself. Get some free hits while he waters. Thats all i can sayPosted on 03 November 2016 - 07:45 PM
at the start look where he is moving. Try to predict where he is going to go next. Then if you think you know where he is going to go, place the lava.Posted on 03 November 2016 - 08:46 PM

When your in a hit exchange try to snap your head down and lava them then pick it up before they water. If you get them near a wall or a tree or pretty much any 2 block tall surface try to place it on the second block and hit them into it. I used to be better at lavaing but I haven't been playing build much so i'm a bit rusty.Posted on 03 November 2016 - 10:47 PM

I've heard some good people say that they place it behind someone then knock them into it.Posted on 04 November 2016 - 12:00 AM

Lava is like not really something that you get good at from people telling you how to do it, you need to just find out how it works for you, because lava strategies are varied depending on the player, and if you watch different pvpers you will see what i mean. If I was going to give advice, make sure that you can easily hotkey to it.
