Error Message - Arena PvP (North America)

When I try to log into North America Arena PvP an error message pops up in my chat : Could not connect to default or fallback server, please try again later: java.net.ConnectException.NOTE: This has not been happening all day every so often this occurs. In the morning it was fine then at certain points during the day i could not get into ArenaPvP.
Can anyone help???
