@Sonambulo are u sure you dont get different rating in ur placement matches depending on the rating of the players you play? if you beat 10 diamonds in a row would u be a higher rank than if u beat 10 bronzes in a row?Posted on 23 November 2016 - 01:48 PM

Let's say you're not placed and beat an emerald 10 times, chances are you will get 214 every match. 214(10) (10 placement matches) = 2140
Silver II 0 points [starting point] + 2140 = gold V 140.

It does, but I feel like I've gotten higher than that. I think the placement system works differently than normal matches, not sure though.
