Rule Question: Macros
Posted on 13 December 2016 - 04:31 PM
Are macros used for chat/commands allowed? For example:
If I wanted to set a macro that types "gg"/"gf" when I hit it, would that be allowed?
This wouldn't give an unfair advantage to any degree, but I just want to make sure so I don't get punished.

According to the Gameplay-Rule #3, macros aren't allowed, not in any form.Last edited on 13 December 2016 - 05:02 PM by Protectionism

Any type of third party program that interfaces(directly or indirectly) with the minecraft client to provide an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. Examples include(but not limited to) autoclickers, macros, multiple attack buttons (multiple buttons/keys bound to leftclick), editing hardware to allow clicking faster than humanly possible (drag clicking), and changing default mouse interactions (like double/triple click on a single click). General rule is one button, one finger, one click.
Doesn't really provide an unfair advantage.
