It's probaly still bad sportsmanship but it's lieing to myself instead of just admitting they outplayed me which would probaly result in a death threat ^^ :P

This doesn't work when your anger, the only way to dissipate it is to hurt the person in any way possible, and when you restrain yourself you become even angrier.

Yesterday I was told by my opponent after barely beating him that he deserved to win for being better, to which I politely replied "actually I deserved to win because I dealt more damage. GF!" and ignored him before he could respond.

It's harder to be a smart ass when you lose, but I guess just try to think of creative ways to insult their playstyle inserted of ways to threaten their life.
