I have satellite internet at home (only choice). Using the Badlion Client and connecting to Badlion Open, my ping is actually pretty good despite having satellite internet. I get around 100-200 ping. But when I use the Minecraft Client, any server I connect to I get 600+ ping. How am I getting better ping using the Badlion Client?

*EDIT* I do not play Minecraft on this internet. I play at my mom's parent's house.

Maybe because it actually connects you to the right proxy?
