Although I own the largest active clan atm, for a "Competitive" Clan Community I feel like things like this need to be done to fix it

Its got to a point now with Badlion Clans thats its too difficult for individuals to create new strong, active clans unless they have a large influence (eg. Haris, Karl and Tyguy with Ezra)

You see many promising clans such as Sync and Cordate for example being made and last a good few weeks but then just give up and then join one of "The Big 3" as I like to call them (Ominous, Rift + Stride)

It was "The Big 4" but with Ezra disbanding and Clans such as uBetter and Stride merging, it makes the individual clans become stronger but immensely weakens the competition as a whole (Apparently Genesis V2 is coming back soon however so if they can keep good activity and organisation that will change things a bit)

The easy option for a good player is just to join Ominous, Rift or Stride because they don't want to join a "Bad" Clan and aren't going to make their own

Although it could really be detrimental to each of the individual clan communities, limits on roster numbers and other implementations to create clan loyalty are really needed from Badlion because we all want more competition but just cant seem to do it as a community

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

Im just going to throw some ideas around for Clans in general which could help in some way:

Limit Clan Rosters gradually down to somewhere around 30 - 50:
This may have negative effects on clan communities, however from a competitive side this makes the management (Leaders / Officers) of a clan really have to think about who is active, skilled and fits in well with the rest of the team as well as who to accept into the clan and who not.
The reality is it would cause possible drama and hard decisions have to be made but it means more people are looking for clans and therefore starting new clans is much easier. But as I said this would have to be gradual because if not it would give Ominous and Rift a very hard time with kicking people :P

Create Official Scrim / Clan War system:
I believe badlion may be doing something like this with Premium and if so that is really good. I believe an official way would make finding other clans to scrim easier as you can see who are on the leaderboard and the current system we have with putting scores on threads just isn't that good tbh. An official system also means there is no lying with the outcome and overall the release of a proper system / leaderboard would spark clans to start playing against others

Badlion promoting Clans:
Badlion imo should push people to get in clans and promote them more. If they want a really competitive Minecraft experience they should be pushing people to get in clans ready for tournament and I feel many people don't know about clans.
Again if more people knew about them this would mean more people want to join clans and more clans are many resulting in more competition and good stuff overall

Add "Wait Times":
What I mean by this is that when you leave a clan, you must wait like 5 days before being able to join back again / another clan. Secondly when you join a clan you must wait 5 days before being able to play any scrims / clanwars.
Overall this makes people think about when they are going to leave / join a clan and also doesn't let clans add people last minute so that they can play a clan war. GommeHD do this with their clans and It has worked and I think it would be good on badlion too as their isn't much clan loyalty and clans often add people last minute to play clan wars and I think the reasoning to join a clan should be more long term

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

Overall I always repeat the fact to other clans that community is more important that competition and that a strong community and good organisation keeps a clan going, not how good a team is

However with Premium coming soon and the fact that there is a major lack of Clan Competition, more serious things need to implemented by badlion to make sure Premium and the future of Minecraft as an "e-sport" starts off really strong with a really large array of strong teams / clans

I can see the problem it will have for Ominous and other clans but I do believe it is for the better, and plus it makes organising the clan much easier xD

P.S
1. Another problem I have with the current Competitive Clan Community is that the majority want to keep Arena 5v5 as the official clan war method, when Badlion will be pushing PUG gamemodes and that is what the tournaments will be.
Clan Members imo should regularly be playing Premium is they have it and should be practising CTF, SG and Skywars for when the first Premium Tourney ever comes out. Not saying Arena 5v5 shouldn't be a thing but it should be practice and not official

2. Sorry for this comment looking so bad, tried to structure it but :/

I can see where u completely coming from. I think the limit should be around 50 players but anything lower than 50 would be too drastic

I honestly do see where this is coming from, but this is not a fix. The best fix for making more clans is making cb's and scrims more organized, which is exactly what is happening on premium and maybe season 15.

There are plenty of small clans like Salvage :D

I dont believe we as the clan community can fix it and we need badlion to step in

A problem with an official system however contrdicting myself is that if there are only 3 - 4 big clans, we will be even more reluctant to fight eachother imo

However if this is brought along with alot of new teams then they wont mind fighting other new clans and if big clans are forced to be smaller (and therefore less skilled) then smaller clans would rather fight us whereas currently we have 70+ members so I can see why they wouldnt tbh

For example we as Ominous and Rift could split our clans and make 5 - 6 new clans full of 25 - 30 members. That would provide great competition however the problem is because clans can still have an unlimited number of players clans such as Stride might not do the same and therefore will clearly have a greater clan as they have 60+

Whereas if there is a set limit this makes all clans reduce in size, meaning all clans suffer yet it creates greater competittion.
We as a community could do some big steps to help the situation but it would require us all working together and the chances are that aint gonna happen

I know there are a few huge clans like Ominous and Influence, but from my experience there plenty of other clans that are around 15 players that I've scrimmed or clan battled before.

there are other smaller clans like Inertia and Nitro but more couldnt hurt. There are alot of people active clanwise, but not alot of clans that are active if you understand. Some "clans" just lose competitiveness and become a friend group. As a part of a big clan its pretty hard to get Clan Battles. :(

If I limit a clan to 30, a clan of 60 is just going to make two clans. This isn't an issue on BL's side. This happens in all and any game I've played that wanted more players then the max limit allowed.

Clans are for community and self made competition, teams on premium will be for competitive team group fights.
