1. It's impossible for you to lose points when you win a game and it was probably the fact that points take time to update.2. No one knows how it works and no one ever will but when you play for some time you can get a good idea of it. Again you would know even better if the points updated instantly.

you cant lose points from a winyou can gain points from a loss if u get enough kills that game
a win wont give you many points, its the kills that matter
if you want to see your true rating dont play for 2 hours and check back
the higher your rank the more bullshit the points get
i hit #1 na and u need to win 3-4 games with decent kill counts to make up for one loss
