Community Discussion #1
Posted on 07 June 2017 - 06:52 PM
Hello, I'd like to introduce myself! My name is CommunistSteve. I'll be joined by my friend gmer4life76 in these posts. Lately, I've noticed quite a lot of different things growing wild in the Badlion community, from Badlion Premium, to the re-implementation of elo into Arena PvP!
For my first topic involving Badlion, I'd like to discuss the attitude that popular players have on Badlion.
I've noticed many well-known players losing interest in Badlion, and even going to extremes and getting themselves banned from the network for entertainment and to produce a video with reactions.
I've seen the claims that our staff members have made explaining their opinions and why they think so many players are changing their minds and leaving the network. But I'd like to see discussion from the community as a whole.
Why are so many YouTubers and well-known players losing interest?

I don't know man, maybe it's because school is still in term for EU players and there are less people playing and more people worried about their exams. Archybot is usually right about this stuff dude, but it could be because of the community changing and being more toxic because we don't get what we want sometimes.Posted on 07 June 2017 - 08:19 PM
Some YouTubers may get 'bored' of their content or are not happy with the viewers responses. Mainly, content creator's are driven by their feedback on what they should post. So, if they feel their videos or streams are better than 'this and this' series, then that may discontinue the old series, which may be Badlion for some YouTubers.Posted on 07 June 2017 - 10:35 PM

Yes, but there has been an unusual amount of known players and YouTubers leaving Badlion.
This claim is very much similar to how the Badlion administration claimed that the player drops in Season 14 were due to school returning, yet it is now summer and there has been no sudden increase in players whatsoever.
Could you perhaps give some feedback for this?
