So here it is - the Hit Range Mod (https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/hit-range-mod).
Please note that this modification hasn't been tested a lot, so bugs might occur.
Such a modification shouldn't be a big deal. However, I can't tell you if and when I'm going to program that.

First of all, I'm sorry if you or the author of your modification feels offended. However, in case you haven't noticed yet, the download link in your video description isn't working since a couple of days (actually since I saw this thread for the first time).
I wasn't able to find a download link for this modification and I didn't find any other modifications that offer the same features, so I had decided to create my own modification for that. As you can see, my modification features way more options than the one showed in your video.
It wasn't my intention to simple copy the idea and gain credits for this idea. However, I didn't know who I should give credits to because I wasn't able to find out who came up with the idea of such a modification. I'm already in contact with the author of the modification in your video and I'll offer him to give him proper credits on my project.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Wouldnt this be inaccurate with latency and delayed hit/knockback?Posted on 21 July 2017 - 01:52 PM

If I'm right, you're the owner of that channel where the video was uploaded, which is linked in the first post.

I'll rerelease it today

I personally wouldn't recommend using this as a moderation tool or as a general tool to detect reach cheats.
However, this is still pretty for fights, spectating and also a bit helpful for detecting players with a really obvious high reach - but bans shouldn't rely on this modification, no matter on what server you're playing.

Yeah, this is a brilliant idea. I would love to see this implemented into Badlion. Does it show accurate range if you or your opponent aren't on the same y level?
