@843715 is correct here, the number of times a person has been banned increases the time of an unban.https://www.badlion.net/profile/user/Maiba/punishments - You can see there is a gcheat ban and a pair of killaura/forcefield bans here - A person such as this is considered an enemy of the server, but we still allow them to have chances to return. By increasing the timeframe of their punishment reduction, we hope they are more likely to learn from their mistakes and play legitimately.
Typically we lift the ban at two or three months depending on how they were caught, https://www.badlion.net/profile/user/Zetreh/punishments has two punishments so therefore he got a 5 month reduction.
