The top 5 in each ladder was the exact same as the S12 ELO algorithm when we reran all the matches using S12 ELO.

That's not what I meant. I meant that it is so much easier for people to obtain high ranks that don't deserve it including me. I literally am nowhere near as good as I used to be but I still was able to get masters in a short time of grinding. Idk maybe it's just me but grinding points doesn't take the effort that it used to.

He's saying the people grinding for rating are shittier than they were in past seasons not that their mmr is boosted higher than they should be, with players from the better seasons many of the currents wouldn't be on leaderboards
