uhc meetup 2.0 anvil glitch

so i has been playing uhh meet up 2.0 and for some reason when i try to anvil it never works, idk if this is a glitch but other ppl can anvil and i can't, so can u plz tell me whats wrongPosted on 10 August 2017 - 02:45 PM
It's not a glitch, using 1.7 and 1.8 anvil system at the same time is impossible so they use 1.7's :pso… use 1.7

The servers run on 1.7, but minecraft changed the level requirements when making 1.8. Therefor it's showing you the wrong amount of levels on 1.8 if you try to combine items.
