What this thread is about -Hello everyone! What this thread entails about new chat restrictions that I think should be added in to badlion. If you don't know what I am talking if you try to say the word "Ez" or when someone is hackusates someone,It doesn't let you type in chat.My suggestion - Maybe Badlion can do the same for the words "Kys" or "L" or other toxic words.
How will this help -
1) It will make Badlion a much friendly place and cleaner toxicity wise.
2) It will make the mods // admins job much easier.
3) The report section won't be filled with mute reports with these words.
Thank you for reading and If you have any suggestions feel free to comment them

Also, there isn't a filter on "L" because it would cause more problems than solutions. I used to think that there would be no harm before I saw the down sides of what would happen if there was a filter.Posted on 04 September 2017 - 01:13 AM

Wow great mod!
And +1… I'm too lazy to report people and also I get hella salty so this would stop me from being toxic :D

-1Doing so will not reduce the amount of people saying it. It would just increase the amount of filter bypasses.
I'll link a video I've seen regarding this matter:

As MaccariTA said, this will just increase the amount of mutes for Filter Bypass. People will write "k y s" instead of a simple "kys".Posted on 04 September 2017 - 08:56 AM
I mean, as much I would love to see some of the toxicity in chat get reduced, Maccari raises a great point.Filter bypass will be abused a lot.
You can block all of these words, but it will create a chain of filter bypasses.
With every blocked word will make a make a new filter bypass.
With every muted filter bypass will just create another.
This will keep going on, and on, and on, and on.
I like the idea but purely as the on going issue of people abusing filters, I'm not sure whether or not this will improve or just worsen chat.
As I'm not sure what outcome this will have, I'll have to give it a -1.
