Purposedly lowering your ELO can result in a ban - effective immediately. We will not be punishing retroactively.Read all the rules at https://www.badlion.net/rules

Good people on alts have started purposely dropping ELO against "bad" people, and then try to snipe good people and take a lot of points from them. It's also boosting other people and they are getting free points when they drop it. It's pure rating manipulation.Posted on 04 February 2014 - 05:24 PM

Am I allowed to go to like 1400 to where new players start off and then try to go back up in ranking even if you fight "bad" people?
Sorry for Nick's rude comment :P
What you asked would still be illegal if you purposely lose fights to go down, because it would give an unfair boost to whoever you purposely lost to.

What if it's somebody you really don't want to fight? I mean, half of the times on my alt I will just /spawn because that person is boring to fight.
I mean, I can see this being used against people.
I doubt it would happen, but there could be a scenario where you have to /spawn or that person would DDoS you for example. Not a valid reason to take away the rule, but in case it ever happens staff should keep an open mind.
Of course there are situations where it's okay, but doing it to purposefully lower your rating/boost others' ratings is not okay.

Check all the "idminecraft___" accounts, they all do this.Posted on 01 April 2014 - 01:37 AM
The ___ means 3 random numbers, they are public alts. Also maybe IP trace to see who the main account/s using them are, and ban them too.
