This is an idea to make more people want to use the Badlion client on arena pvp.If you and your opponent are both using the Badlion client I think it should give the winning player an extra percentage of elo. Maybe 20% more elo or a number around there.
This will make more players want to use the client because of the elo boost that comes with it.

There are tons of good methods to promote the use of the client and this isn't one of them. This will never be implemented as it messes up ELO and punishes Mac players.Posted on 17 September 2017 - 12:31 PM

I like the idea of rewarding the player, but giving them 20% more elo is not good.But a cosmetic item or a "badlion" cape would be good, like a cape that has the Badlion logo on it for people who use/are using the client.
Or, once they have a BAC badge for every ladder or a majority of them they receive the Bl client only cape. Just like CheatBreaker has a CB cape, Badlion can make their own cape.

More ELO would throw off the system. The good thing about elo is that it's an even win/loss which means that apart from cheaters and bans, the mean elo should always be at exactly 1400. Making it so people can gain more/less would mean that there's a potential for a larger elo pool, and if you could gain more that would mean you could also lose more meaning that it wouldn't be favorable for high level players.Posted on 18 September 2017 - 05:33 AM
