1.8+/BLC 1.8

I know a majority of you use 1.7 for pvp but none of us talk about 1.8 and up, so I have a couple of questionsWhat servers do you play that requires 1.8+ (the plus being any version 1.8 and above) ((Don't say hypixel because that's generic))
What do you dislike about 1.9+ (Do not say pvp cooldown, it gets old)
What do you like about 1.8? (Don't say mouse glitch)
What do you like about 1.9+
What do you like about 1.8?
What servers do you intend to play on when/if BLC 1.8 comes out? (if waypoints are added I intend to use the BLC to play on wynncraft)

What do you dislike about 1.9+ (Do not say pvp cooldown, it gets old) : that no big servers are 1.9+ exclusive
What do you like about 1.8? (Don't say mouse glitch) : Server/backwords compatibility with plugins and mods
What do you like about 1.9 : i know that i am going to get hate for that but the fact that it has a proper combat systeam and not spam click noobs with razer that jitter click and i think is more fair and more like some other games

There aren't very many servers I play on in general. I really only play Badlion and maybe once in a blue moon some Hypixel.
What do you dislike about 1.9+ (Do not say pvp cooldown, it gets old) I'm gonna say the PvP cooldown. It makes the PvP slower paced, and it doesn't have that same fast paced combo feel to it because of it. On top of that, shields suck. They block arrows entirely. They're overpowered. The lack of sword blocking is also pretty dumb, since that's a fun mechanic and blockhitting is a great skill as well.
What do you like about 1.8? (Don't say mouse glitch) Blockhitting sucks, I hate the animations, and it just feels slower. I don't feel that on BLC but I certainly do on 1.8
What do you like about 1.9+ There are benefits to having the cooldown and whatnot, such as more slow paced strategic gameplay but I don't appreciate it overall, especially since it's Minecraft which has PvP mechanics that are already set. Also redstone. It has better redstone (observers and slime blocks etc.

About 280. I don't mind it much.
