So, as alot of the pot/hcf community knows, Kohi was sold to Badlion to try and make the god of all servers. Unfortunatly Kohi shutdown because of the combination and possibly the community (fuck im gunna get something wrong and screw all of it up… also look like a idiot mineplex member). after the merge, badlion became very competative and a big part in the potpvp community. The hcf community took a big hit when kohi shutdown and i think that because badlion owns kohi they remake kohi with prplz. This could lead to massive popularity, money andlove (possibly even fame, in the community of course). Im no pro at minecraft or the history of kohi but i know that there is a big opportunity for the badlion networkt right now (this wouldn't hurt the badlion pot community as there is nobody in it xDD)
I thank anyone who read this thread and I know there are spelling mistakes… Once again thank you for reading.

The kohi/badlion merge didn't work out because the potpvp community will never thrive on a server with a legitimate anticheat. Also, the owners have made it clear they aren't going to associate themselves or their server with the factions community againPosted on 05 November 2017 - 02:58 AM

Well back in the good old days when under half of the community didn’t cheat, when one member of a faction got banned for cheating, the whole faction paid the price. Besides this, Badlion’s HCF/ PotPvP reputation is horrible and they’d have to compete with other huge FrozenOrb servers. If Badlion brought true HCF back (no kits, no crates, no bullshit) they’d have a slight chance, but would most likely fail. In my opinion, Badlion needs to go back to its roots; ArenaPvP, UHC, and competitive based minigames. HCF is probably going to die before 2018, while minigames and arena are going to carry the community.Last edited on 13 November 2017 - 07:15 AM by DKN

HCF dead when kohi and Shotbows HCF died. FrozenOrbs server is carebear faction. MineHQ is a clone of kohi HCF.

this was the case before the merge, things just started to die down for pot pvp in general cos cheaters kept getting caught

Badlion's roots are not UHC and minigames, but i guess that's subjective.

potpvp and hcf may have been what badlion started with but UHC and Arena (with build like kits) are what made it so popular. Roots is the wrong word though. I know you know this Jaime, this was for the post saying badlions 'roots' were arena and uhc.

HCF is dying, the gamemode has become too easy because of p2w and hence is on a downward spiral because p2w has never been sustainable. P2W has also caused people to become lazy and unless there is some major fucking hype (which quite frankly there never will be), they won't ever play on an old school type hcf because they're accustomed to having everything done for them.Quite frankly, the game is dying. I hate to be negative like everyone else it seems on this forums, but i'll back it up. 1) Cheats. Quite obviously this is the main problem. Most people closet cheat which just creates an atmosphere of negativity and toxicity because you can't really trust anyone. This also impairs legit players since they can't really learn to pvp as they just get stomped, so they download hacks too and the cycle continues. 2) Toxicity. Everyone is disgusting. If anyone said half the shit they said in-game, they're be arrested. The chat is filthy, something needs to be done about it. This constant negativity just pushes people away from competitive gamemodes (such as hcf) since everyone are dicks and the player base slowly dwindles. 3) Repetition (just for HCF). In this case, every map is incredibly similar. Grind out SOTW, generally same map kit, grind end, eotw, rinse and repeat. Maps are too short to truely form an attachment/sense of satisfaction of what you've achieved since you'll be doing the exact same thing in a week, so people lose interest and leave.
Thus, because of p2w, cheating, toxicity and repetition HCF is an unsustainable gamemode. There are tons of new servers up opening every week (which quite frankly is unhealthy as it further divides the playerbase.) Badlion has other, more important things to focus on, which I why I don't think they should consider remaking kohi.
