Extreme Ping Lag

I live in Ohio and I believe I was told NA is hosted in Chicago. When I hover over the bad lion bars when about to join the server it says I am getting 50 ish ping. When I join and go into an arena pvp unranled match. I get 100+ ping. And it never goes down. I also have good internet trough a wired connection. Anyone know how to fix this.
