Hey Badlion staffs. I used to use Cheatbreaker before it got down, and the hardest thing about badlion client is that I have to change colors manually(for example if I want all red, then I have to go settings and change keystrokes, Fps, Cps etc). So, like cb, can you make sync all colors in to 1? That might be very cool. Thxs.Posted on 22 September 2018 - 02:31 PM
Yes please! This would be very nice to have!Posted on 23 September 2018 - 02:20 AM

This is already possible, but I guess people don't know about it.There is a way to apply the same color to other mods.
Any ideas @HashEdits for how to make it more accessible?

I don't know but in Cheatbreaker you could change the colours in 3 clicks and the animations were smooth when you scroll between mods.
At the moment I love the animation when the Badlion client settings show up, I also enjoy when you disable and enable mods, however, I am not a huge fan of how you have to scroll between them and enter them to edit them. In Cheatbreaker you could choose to edit the modules directly in the GUI editing screen, I think it's much more ergonomic and intuitive to do so cause if you want to change a small little detail when you set up your thing you have to exit the GUI editing feature, find the appropriate module and find the particular thing to change and the change it then go back into the GUI editing feature and see if it looks nice and if it doesn't you have to pass through this whole process another time.
So overall that's how I think you guys can improve the UI.

Overall this is probably not going to be easy to change until we maybe look at a 3.0 version of BLC (which is no where on our road map).
We might be able to tweak the process a bit, but we can't change the menus at their core too easily at the moment without spending a lot of time doing it.

Alright I expected it to be hard to tweak but I think that's a little disign error that could ruin the experience.
So do you plan on revamping the client UI as a whole in the 3.0 update?

This is the first I have spoken about a 3.0 update, so it's probably no where near in the future lol.

I know (if follow the development of blc a lot since the 1.2 update) but do you consider doing a complete rework of the UI to improve the two topics I spoke about previously?

One idea might be to have an option called colors in the mod section of the GUI and you can check and uncheck what you want the color changed on and then select a color for the checked items to be changed to.

I think the way you can already do it is fine for if you are specifically looking to do it, perhaps when you edit a color it could prompt a "would you like to apply this color to any other mods?" button, which could be disabled in betterframes if you are comfortable with the client, because you really only set the colors once per mod profile?Alternatively, there could be when you make a new mod profile it walks you through in steps for example,
1) Mod Selection (What is enabled what is not)
2) Positioning and Scaling
3) Color Scheme
4) Name & Save
