Okay, so if you get the "graphics are out of date" all i know is that you can delete the "options" in your .minecraft folder.

You can play, but when ever you go into fullscreen that's when the game crashes.

So, if you can play like that, you can do that i guess, but its still a bug ;/

This still sounds like a graphics driver crash. This isn't something we can cause or trigger by going into full screen mode.
