It would be cool to have a feature where you can change your skin ingame. So you needn't quit your game and go back to the launcher.Posted on 10 December 2019 - 07:42 AM
you can already do it with vanilla launcher

No I mean ingame and not in the launcher xDPosted on 10 December 2019 - 05:55 PM
I'm not too sure but, I think having the option to change your skin in-game is only client-side, and only you can see it nobody else. That's why Minecraft needs you to restart your game in order to have your skin updated. But good suggestion though!Posted on 11 December 2019 - 09:14 PM
I once changed my skin in the vanilla launcher and all I did was switch accounts (on the badlion account switcher) and logged into a server and it had my new skin. Didn't have to restart my game. Maybe I was just lucky.Posted on 12 December 2019 - 02:41 PM
Pretty sure this does not work like this? You restart you're minecraft so all the textures etc reload that's how you get you're new skin right?Greetings,

For singleplayer a client restart is required, In multiplayer, servers decide also about your own skin.
