I don't know if it's possible but it would be very nice to see the block hit animation even in versions above 1.8, this is useful in pvp servers where you can't log in 1.8.(google translate)

The problem here is this changes how the gameplay works. It allows you to do something that users on a vanilla Minecraft client can not. Therefore many would consider it a cheat, or an unfair advantage, and this is why we won't do it.
