shader packs not showing up

Im trying to download shaders, I'm sure im installing them right. I put the shader's folder into the shader packs but it is not showing up in game. Please help!

Hello,

  • If the shaders option is not showing up, make sure to enable Optifine before launching. If you are using 1.15, there is no Optifine available.
  • If the downloaded shaders are not showing up in the list, most likely they are required to be extracted.

    The "shaders" option is showing up, and I don't always stick with one version, but I don't use 1.15. The files are a folder, the aren't a .zip, so they don't have to be extracted.

    I'm still not sure why they are not showing up.

    Edit: I am using a MacBook, if that helps.

    Hello,

    Is the folder called "shaderpacks"?
    Are your shaders showing up in normal Minecraft?
    Does it happen with all shaders? I suggest you downloading other shaders from other creators, for example, SEUS and Sildurs Vibrant Shaders, to test if the same issue happens.
