i’m probably doing this wrong, but whenever i insert an profile into BLClient-Mod-Profiles-1.8 & restart my game, it is not there.

Hello,

Mod profiles need to be put into the "BLClient-Mod-Profiles" folder.

If they don't show up in the game, it means you are using old mod profiles that need to be converted. Unfortunately, it's not possible to convert old mod profiles at the moment.
