Hello to everyone that is reading this!I launch badlion client with every setting for fps boost even the fps boost option on,
the other settings fps boost me a bit, but the setting, It's a big no no.
I have it on, 5 fps in plus, suchspeed had 300 fps on badlion or 400 and he is sitting on 500 now,
the fps boost is kinda useless, is this a bug or is my pc a smashed rotten potato?
Edit: I have good fps, sometimes it goes down but eh? but when I record I lag so much I cant win a game.
from 200 fps to 50, 40. My recording software should not be taking 150 fps away, even obs is better. My program is a windows program.
It should be fps friendly. If I cant fix this then atleast the fps boost maybe can.

Hello,It depends on how good your computer is. Sometimes the FPS boost does not improve that much FPS if your computer is old/not so good.
Try updating your graphics drivers and see if it increases the FPS. Also, check your graphics card settings and toggle some options that might increase the performance.

I'm 100% sure my graphic drivers are up to date but my pc is not the best…I have a laptop, if needed I can send my specs.

Not everyone gets a significant increase in FPS when the FPS Boost option is enabled. It's definitely not a bug. As I mentioned in my previous post, it depends on your computer whether it can boost the game more or not. Some screen recorders are known for affecting performance drastically/using a lot of computer resources - you can check that in the task manager.
There are other things you can try to do to improve the performance of the game and computer (it's not guaranteed it will increase the performance):
1. Make sure you are NOT using Minecraft quality settings that might affect the performance (anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering are the ones that affect the performance the most).
2. Lower the render distance or use the lowest possible.
3. Use low-resolution or default texture packs.
4. Close down all programs apart from Badlion Client.
5. Optimize your Windows for gaming (power plan, graphics settings).
6. Decrease Windows resolution.
7. Allocate more RAM to Badlion Client. Note: allocating RAM does not increase FPS significantly.

Are done, but, still, I use Xbox Game Bar to record, which is a windows program, it shouldn't be taking this much fps the fps boost is beginning to be a bit better but while recording I get low fps and sometimes without recording still low fps, lets say in hypixel lobbys or TNTRun.Again now i get like 30 fps in plus or 20, but you can explain to me more of my problem with this.

Hey. I suggest turning your recording settings down. Since I don't have a graphics card that supports shadowplay, I use the XBox Game Bar to record 30 seconds back. I suggest turning it to 30fps, and standard or high quality.Last edited on 14 April 2020 - 02:41 AM by UnknownFact

Both of the mentioned servers have lots of entities, particles, blocks and it's obvious that FPS will decrease in these places. Your computer specs are not the best (I would say they are below "good"), and that's the reason the game is getting low FPS.
You can try using changing your recoding settings as was it mentioned above, but if that doesn't help, I don't think there is anything else that can be done besides going through this tutorial and trying to increase the performance of your computer.

its on standard and 60 fps, my friend told me about Xbox game bar and it said it barely takes fps and he has the same settings as me and he doesn't lag but he has an intel core i5, now that I have more information about this, I know that it isn't a bug and its just my pc.
