So I wanted to try and play Survival on the new 1.16 Snapshots on Badlion, but when I selected said version and tried to launch it, I got the error checking for jar updates, and then it asks me to verify and make sure there are no firewalls interrupting the connection.

1.16 is only available to those with the Insider rank, that's why you might be experiencing this issue.
