optifine is not working

i have really low fps around 60 when i get around 200 on original launcheri have enabled optifine in launcher
im using 1.8.9 but tried 1.14.4
both says vanilla in game
my ram is allocated to 5GB (i have 8GB) did i put to much ?
please help ,because playing on it is way better than original launcher but fps are poor

Hello,Could you please take a screenshot of Minecraft video settings and post it here? By doing that, I will see if Optifine has loaded or not.

I see that you have Optifine.If you want to get the best performance, you may need to change your settings. I'm sure you can find a full list of settings that are good for performance on Google.
Also, if your FPS is locked at 60, make sure to disable any option that limits your FPS - it can be vsync in your graphics card settings.

You might have enabled settings that affect your performance. Reset your Optifine config (you can do that in Optifine settings).Posted on 09 May 2020 - 11:00 PM
