So, I decided to try and give the 1.1620W13B Snapshot a go, and when I tried to load it up on Badlion, this is the message that I received:

Error checking for jar updates. Check your internet correction and any firewall software you have installed.


I know it says to check my internet connection, but I messaged one of my friends in Discord to check. If my message I sent to them had turned red after a few seconds, that would indicate that I need to restart my computer, but it did not turn red after a few seconds, and everything else (stuff like Google Chrome, Spotify) is working just fine. I don't know how to check and see whether or not I have some sort of firewall software installed, but I do have an anti-virus. I was not the one to install the anti-virus though, it was my grandpa who installed it.

Hello,

1.16.20W13B never was released to the public. That's why it shows that error when you try to launch that version.

1.16.20W15A should work perfectly fine if you have Insider.
