Hi,

With the new chat enabled, and filter DM's enabled, i dont hear a notification sound and chat doesnt appear on screen when i receive a private message (in a tab). I dont mind not hearing a sound, but chat isnt appearing when a private message arrives.

The only way i know if i received a private message via the tabs, is by opening chat manually. Then i see a number on the tab to tell me i received a message. Often, this means im late to reply to people.

Im using 1.8.9. Please help.
