There is really only one thing that has been turning me off of using badlion over using oranges simplemods: togglesprint being automatically enabled when I start the game.
Is there a setting I could set so that togglesprint is always activated before I login to a multiplayer server? (so I don't need to hit a keybind). Or is this something that is not in the client?

No, it's not on Badlion Client. You need to toggle it every time you launch the game.
